Home make yogurt!! Yummm.......

Love yogurt. Do you know the yogurt is kind of tasty ,easy, and has lots of health benefits food.

Yogurt can offer good bacteria in the digestive tract. Also let us not forget that yogurt comes from milk. So yogurt eaters will also get a does a animal protein, plus several other nutrients found in dairy foods, like calcium, vitamin B-2,B-12, potassium and magnesium.

The yogurt I can find on the market is too sweet to me. I love the Greek yogurt so much! Finally I find the cheaper and healthier way. Home make yogurt.!

You need one the thermometer. This is very important.

I alway make 4 cups whole organic milk plus half cup of whipping cream.( It makes yogurt even more creamer.)

Step 1:

Heat the milk to 185ºF (85ºC). Using two pots that fit inside one another, create a double boiler. This will prevent your milk from burning, and you should only have to stir it occasionally. If you cannot do this, and must heat the milk directly, be sure to monitor it constantly, stirring all the while. If you do not have a thermometer, 185ºF (85ºC) is the temperature at which milk starts to froth. It is highly recommended that you obtain a thermometer in the range of 100 - 212ºF - especially if you plan to make yogurt on an ongoing basis.

 Step 2:
Cool the milk to 110ºF (43ºC). The best way to do this is with a cold water bath. This will quickly and evenly lower the temperature, and requires only occasional stirring. If cooling at room temperature, or in the refrigerator, you must stir it more frequently. Don't proceed until the milk is below 120ºF (49ºC), and don't allow it to go below 90ºF (32ºC); 110ºF (43ºC) is optimal

Step 3:

Mix the original yogurt with milk. I alway save one bottle from last yogurt. About 6-7oz.

Step 4:

Put the milk into different cups. I use glass cups come with the yogurt maker.

Step 5:

Turn on the yogurt maker over night. Next day morning. You will have fresh yogurt to eat.

Home make yogurt tast so good. And so easy to make it.

My boys love to put some blue berry jam to eat.

Love lunch for my lovely boy

Justin went to school one month already. I found I was even busier than ever. I have to Got up earlier to prepare his breakfast and his lunch.

Love those bento lunch box. Try to make them too. I try to read on the internet but most cute one is Japanese style. They cooked them by rice. I would like Justin use to eat Bread instead of the rice. So I change the plan. Use the bread to instead the rice.

Justin never fined it out what is different.

This is one of his favorite: Big elephent .
Whole wheat breat and chees turns to a big fat elephent.

Not only the Lunch, You have to prepare the snacks for the kids.

I try to don't give any high sugar snacks for Justin. How about this Bear egg, and peach.

If you do have ideas for the lunch for the toddler . Please share with me.

I fall in love to make my own noodles. I can control what I put in. How long I store them.

But this time I decided to rock my noodle little bit. I add some spinach  juice  and carrot juice, When my son saw it. He called them Rainbow noodle.

This is normal carrot noodles:

My son loves my noodles. He is very picky eater. But he eat this rainbow noodles. Yes, baby. You like it. Mom will make for you!!
